Italian Baked Figs
This Italian Baked Fig Recipe is the perfect way to use a surplus of figs. It's great served with cheese, in a salad, or as a dessert.

- 15 Ripe Figs tops trimmed, cut in half
- 4 Tablespoons Madiera can also use port or sherry
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
- Optional: 1 teaspoon Lavender
Get Recipe Ingredients
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a pie, tart, or cast iron pan, overlap the fig halves in a spiral shape. (See video.)
Pour the Madiera and Honey over the figs. Optional, sprinkle with Lavender.
Bake for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or cold with cheese and bread.
