Healthy, creamy and delicious! And all in just 5 minutes with 5 ingredients. This whipped feta cheese (or Tyrosalata in Greek) is made with Olive Oil & Greek yogurt, seasoned with garlic and fresh basil and is equally addictive as a dip, sauce or spread.

Notes

Ingredient notes & substitutions
  • Garlic can be skipped
  • Fresh basil can be skipped or switched for dried basil
  • I always use Greek or Turkish yogurt, but any neutral cooking type yogurt is fine
  • Yogurt can be switched for crème fraîche, cream cheese or sour cream

Tips & tricks
  • Instead of a food processor you can use an immersion blender, regular blender, mixer, or just a fork to mash up the Feta cheese
  • Adjust the consistency by adding more or less yogurt
  • Mix it smooth or keep it chunky - both ways are delicious
  • Adjust the flavors to match what you're serving it with - for example, adding some lemon juice is great when serving it with fish or seafood. See more suggested tweaks in the post!
