Combine ingredients: In a small pot, add 6 ounces dried cranberries, ½ cup cranberry juice, 1 cup water, ½ cup white sugar, ½ cup brown sugar, and the juice of half an orange.
Simmer: Place the pot on medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer.
Cook: Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes until the cranberries have plumped up and the sauce has thickened.
Cool: Remove from heat and let the sauce cool. As it cools, it will thicken further.
