Grilled Chicken Wings with Shishito Peppers
It's no secret that I love chicken wings! I'm always looking for ways to spice things up (pun totally intended!) For this recipe I decided to not only grill my wings but also grill and add shishito peppers to the dish! The addition of the peppers is *chef's kiss! This is a great weeknight dinner for the summer - who doesn't love outdoor cooking in the summer?!

Ingredients
- Marinade
- 1 Large Shallot finely chopped
- 1 Cup Fresh Lime Juice
- Kosher Salt
- ยฝ Toasted Sesame Oil
- ยฝ Cup Vegetable Oil
- ยผ Cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoon Honey
- Chicken Wings
- 2 Lb Chicken Wings
- Kosher Salt
- 1 ยฝ Cup Shishito Peppers
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- 1 Fresno Chile for garnish
- Torn Mint and Cilantro for garnish
- Lime for garnish
Instructions
- Combine Shallot and Lime Juice in a medium bowl. Season with Salt and Pepper and let sit for 10 minutes.ย
- After 10 minutes, add Sesame Oil, Vegetable Oil, Soy Sauce, and Honey to the bowl. Whisk together. Season with Salt and Pepper to taste
- Season Chicken Wings with Salt and Pepper, place in a large resealable plastic bag, and add 1 Cup marinade. Seal bag and turn to coat; chill at least 2 hours and up to 1 day.ย
- Prepare a grill for medium heat. Grill Chicken, turning occasionally, until wings are evenly charred and cooked through, about 10 minutes. Transfer to platter.ย
- Meanwhile, toss Shishito Peppers in Oil in a medium bowl. SEason with Salt and Pepper. Thread Shishito Peppers onto skewers then place on grill. Grill Peppers until charred and blistered, about 3 minutes. Transfer to platter with the Wings.ย
- To serve, scatter Fresno Chile and Herbs on top of Wings and Peppers. Drizzle remaining marinade over the top and serve with lime wedges.ย
